Ecotiendas telephone number 900 65 60 website www.ecotiendas.com.uy. If you are looking for certified organic produce this is the place to go. It is a coop (which means that local farmers get together and sell their produce) so the prices are rather reasonable.

They also have preserves, organic extra virgin olive oil, really good organic miel (honey), and non-toxic house hold cleaning products.

As well as Ghee (Indian Butter), ricotta, yoghurt, and various cheeses.

I’d say give them a call for their actual address as I seem to always have the wrong one. I need to write down their address next time and when I have it I’ll update this post.

I frequent them quite often, when I had my personal chef business I’d shop for fresh ingredients twice to even three times per week.

It’s rather far from my previous apartment, so I had to take a remise. Which is a great idea if ask me, because parking is tough down town. As in many down town areas around the globe.
