The North American dollar has dropped. One dollar for twenty two pesos. Recently, it was one dollar for twenty four pesos. The Iva (tax) for produce is now 10%. Fairly recently, the Iva was closer to 14%. And the Iva for other grocery items is now 22%. If my memory serves me right, it was 23%.
Listed below, I have translated from Spanish to English, my shopping list for Tienda Inglesa (translates to English sell or English store). Note, the store does not have a broad selection of English type products. If anything, a small shelf filled with overly priced stuff.
Although, I would like to add, the store stocks two English salad dressings; Craft Italian and Craft Thousand Island (unfortunately, not Ranch or Asian Zest dressing) that is all.
